I was unpacking my books since I had just moved and since I had no idea what I was going to file this author’s name under I took a look inside to see if there would be any signs to help me. I found this note. I hadn’t noticed it when I bought it at the library book sale last year.

There’s just something about knowing that someone else owned this book and enjoyed it. My childhood book of choice (a book of short stories for kids) was given second hand to my mother who the gave it to me. Even if its not always in the best condition there’s a special something in these that new books can’t match for me, no matter how good the story is.
